1. Privacy Policy

Cheras Academy respects your privacy and follows PDPA Malaysia requirements.

What information we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Payment details
  • Any information submitted through booking forms (including Google Forms)
How we use your data
  • Process course bookings and studio reservations
  • Contact you regarding your booking
  • Provide customer support
  • Send updates, promotions, or marketing (you may opt out anytime)
  • Improve our services
Data sharing and security

We do not sell your data. We may share data with payment providers, service providers (for example Google Forms or analytics tools), and authorities where required by law.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no internet transmission is 100% secure.

Your rights, cookies, and contact
  • You may request updates or corrections to your personal data.
  • We may use cookies and tracking tools (for example Google Analytics and Meta Pixel).

2. Booking / Reservation Terms

Submitting a form means you agree to these booking conditions.

Booking process and confirmation
  • Submission of a form does not guarantee confirmation.
  • Bookings are confirmed only after team approval and payment (if required).
Availability and payment
  • All bookings are subject to availability and approval (studio hire: see Studio Rental Terms for advance notice and deposits).
  • We reserve the right to reject or cancel bookings.
  • Payment or a refundable deposit may be required where stated (e.g. Level 1 & 2 studio—see Studio Rental Terms).
  • Failure to make payment may result in cancellation.
Changes, cancellations, and late/no-show
  • Renter-requested changes must be made in advance and are subject to availability (management may also reschedule studio dates when the space is needed—see Studio Rental Terms).
  • Late arrivals may result in reduced session time.
  • No-shows are non-refundable.

3. Studio Rental Terms

Booking, deposits, refunds, usage, clean-up, and safety for studio hire (including Level 1 & 2).

Booking, deposit & confirmation (Level 1 & 2)
  • All bookings must be made at least one week in advance, subject to availability and management approval.
  • To secure Level 1 and Level 2 reservations, a refundable deposit of RM300 is required.
  • Once your booking is finalized, a confirmation slip will be sent to your email.
  • Management reserves the right to change your booking date if the space is needed for a meeting or training.

No Refund Notice

All confirmed bookings are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated.

Courses
  • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • If a course is cancelled by Cheras Academy, the session will be rescheduled or issued as credit for a future course.
  • If a participant cannot attend, a refund may be considered based on the submitted reason.
  • No refunds for no-shows, late attendance, or change of mind.
Studio hire: reschedule & unused time
  • Rescheduling may be allowed with at least 48 hours notice and subject to availability.
  • No refunds for unused rental time or early termination.
Usage and time
  • Studio must be used only for lawful purposes.
  • Illegal or unsafe activities are strictly prohibited.
  • Rental time includes setup and teardown.
  • Overtime may be charged.
  • Before leaving, ensure all projectors, lights, air conditioners, and fans are switched off.
Clean-up, furniture & damages
  • Before leaving, clean up and dispose of all rubbish; return chairs to the storeroom and arrange them properly; restore all items to their original positions and condition.
  • You are liable for the full repair or replacement cost of any defects or broken items.
Level 1 & 2 — Admin, photos & PIC
  • Please notify Admin and take photos and videos to share with the person in charge (PIC).
Safety and liability
  • Users must follow all safety instructions.
  • Cheras Academy is not responsible for injuries caused by misuse.

We do not guarantee specific results, business success, or financial outcomes.

All users participate at their own risk.

Liability limits

Cheras Academy shall not be liable for:

  • Any direct or indirect damages
  • Loss of data, income, or opportunities
  • Injuries sustained during classes or studio usage
